Over the past year or so, before COVID-19, there was a noticeable rise in nonprofits looking beyond “soft” collaborative strategies (sharing information, coordinating activities and services, and non-binding good faith MOUs) to mergers, affiliations and substantive shared services. This interest was often driven by the desire for longer-term sustainability in what was seen as a rapidly changing demographic, policy and technological environment. Little did we know what a truly rapidly changing landscape it would be. Now, the pandemic and the resulting economic crisis has elevated corporate restructuring options including the very real possibility of insolvency for some as a strategic, if not urgent, necessity for many.

On September 22, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. this virtual two-hour session via Zoom will explore the factors, dimensions and impact of our changing and very uncertain nonprofit corporate landscape, what it means for those seeking restructuring solutions, what the core models are, and what state regulatory changes are needed to support our sector’s efforts in this regard. Following the session, the speaker will be available for private consultations. Register and learn more here.
